From First muharram al-Haram to eigth rabi-ul-awal Procession:

The Hussaini pulpit forms the cornerstone of the culture of our community members. Therefore, Hussaini congregations are held in the month of Muharram al-Haram to convey the pure and unadulterated guardianship of Muhammad and his progeny to the generations with all trust and truthfulness. Hussaini congregations for women are held in the first ten days before Zuhr prayer, while for the general public, they are held after Isha prayer.

The procession of Imam Hussain takes place on the day of Ashura. The procession starts after Zuhr from the foundation premises, proceeding to Muhammad bin Abi Bakr Road, Ali Ibn Abi Talib Road, Salman Farsi Road, and Abu Zar Ghifari Road, until it returns to its starting point. A Hussaini congregation is held at the Hussaini Chowk during the procession, and scholars from all Islamic schools of thought deliver speeches. As for the second ten days of Muharram, congregations are held from the 15th to the 25th of Muharram after Zuhr at 3:00 PM. Invited speakers and orators include scholars from our Sunni brethren alongside our honorable scholars.

The mourning congregation concludes with the procession of the coffin of Imam Zain al-Abidin and the coffin of our lady, Fizza, the maidservant of the daughter of the Prophet, the truthful, the pure (peace be upon her). The Matam (chest-beating) procession starts from the foundation, proceeds to Abu Zar Ghifari Road, and returns to its starting point. The Hussaini devotees perform Matam and Tatbeer during the procession, displaying their love, belief, and loyalty to the Ahlul Bayt. We see unity among the Muslims in the procession, and they are served with water and milk, participating themselves out of love for Imam Hussain
